Care

Allergies:

All metals used are gold-plated, however the base metal may vary. If you are incredibly sensitive to metals, please consider carefully, or aim for a non-metal piece such as a beaded ring or necklace, as all beads are made of glass and wouldn't normally react with your skin.

Care:
All beads used, other than the gold bead, are waterproof and will not lose vibrancy.

For longer wear, gold-plated jewellery and gold beads should be removed before swimming, showering, or applying perfume, to prevent the removal of the gold layer.

Tarnish:
For tarnished metal jewellery, you can try to apply some toothpaste on a microfiber cloth and polish the piece to remove the oxide layer.

Another option is to create a jewellery bath. Start by placing the tarnished jewellery in a bowl with aluminium foil lining the inside, shiny side up. Make sure the jewellery is touching the aluminium foil. Then sprinkle some baking soda on top of the jewellery. Then add hot water. A reaction should occur and remove the tarnish. Leave the jewellery in the bath for about 15 minutes, and then remove it. Clean and polish with a microfiber cloth as desired.
